JobBase – Getting young people into work
In March 2011 Base 33 was awarded £13,198 from Oxfordshire County Council’s, Stronger Communities Alliance one-off grant programme.
We were delighted to be one of only 20 groups out 145 applications to be given funding for our Job Base project.
In May we launched an exciting and innovative project aimed at enabling young unemployed people to gain the skills and confidence to be ready and able to apply for jobs, go on to further education or gain work experience through apprenticeships.
In July we completed the first of three Job Base projects that will run until March 2012.
