Young Parent Drop-in at Base 33

The drop-in started in March 2010 as a response to a group of young parents who felt excluded from local traditional ‘toddler groups’, we run a free weekly drop-in session supported by Youth Workers every Wednesday morning 10am -12pm.

At the drop in we aim to: 

• Provide a social and non-judgmental environment for young parents aged 13+
• Respond to the needs identified by the group (money management, childcare, going back to work/education and housing etc) and invite guest professionals to offer on site support
